1.   Hi, tell us a little about yourself! What grade do you teach and how long have you been teaching? 

Hi, my name is Brynn Saxey. I am currently a fourth grade teacher, but have taught grades 1-6, sans 2^nd. I am in my 13^th year of teaching. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, creating resources from my classroom, reading, watching TV, baking, and cooking.

2.   Tell us about the ECR4Kids products you have in your classroom? 

I currently have wobble stools and surf seats in my classroom.

3.   What do you/students enjoy most/how do they benefit from them? 

The students love the ability to move while they’re working on the wobble stools. I love that my students are able to wiggle and focus on their academics simultaneously. I have seen wiggle students greatly benefit those who struggle to focus. The surf seats allow students who like to sit on the floor or on our couch a way to work while doing this. They love the out of the norm opportunity to sit in a way that benefits them. I myself struggle sitting for a long period of time, so I love the chance to give my students choice and opportunities to sit in ways that work best for them.

4.   What is your teaching philosophy?  

I believe that all students can learn. I believe that school should be fun but also rigorous. I believe that it is my job to make this happen and to differentiate for all students.

5.   What is your favorite thing about teaching?  

My favorite thing about teaching is when you see the light come on. I also love seeing student’s progress. This reminds me why I do what I do. I love seeing that I do make a difference and am aiding in changing and bettering lives.
