Hi Caitlin, tell us a little about yourself!

Hey! I’m Caitlin, a 24 year old stay at home mom/content creator. I have two sons, Mason and Lucas and they are the absolute lights of my life, everything I do, I do for them! I love making comfortable spaces for my sons to learn, explore and grow.

Who did you design this playrooom for?

My oldest son Mason. We ditched a lot of our noisy toys that got tossed around his room for more meaningful and useful toys. ECR4Kids shelving has been a dream for this space.

What vision did you have for this space?

Clean but fun. I wanted it to be functional and perfect for all times of the day. During the day we sit down and work to learn colors, shapes, and different skills like counting and problem solving. 

Tell us about the ECR4Kids items that you have in this space.

We have the Kiddo Rocker and a Birch Storage Unit. We love reading books and the rocking chair is perfectly sized and comfortable for this little corner. The shelving is perfect for the toys we have, the birch finish is simply gorgeous.

What is your playtime and learning philosophy?

Whatever gets Mason involved and interested, I’m all in! I want there to be reasoning behind his playing, whether it’s learning cooking skills on his play kitchen, or learning his colors while playing with blocks. Nothing is off the table when it comes to his imagination!

What’s your favorite activity to do with Mason?

We are a very hands on family, we love reading together every single night while cuddling up at the end of a long day. We also love playing with modeling clay and running around the house playing tag together! Anything that gets him giggling and happy makes my day.
